My Swiftech MCP355 pump died and I was looking for a quick cheap replacement, this pump did the trick but the barb size is a smidge smaller than the 3/8" ID I was use too. I was able to get some of my hoses to tighten down on it with some hose clamps(some would leak - I definitely need to get some 5/16" ID hoses).

Flow is good, Cooling is comparable and the pump is SILENT( the MCP355 hummed quite loudly). I have it pushing through an

Tubing is all 3/8" ID (10mm) but this pump needs 5/16" ID tubing, You have to back fill the pump with water, it is not self priming, but when filled, does a great job for the price. Would recommend picking one up as a spare.

I live up on a mountain where it quickly turns from summer to winter. My basement is almost completely underground and stays cold year round (great in the summer!) and the tile floor doesn't help to retain any heat. Basically the basement gets REAL cold in the winter. Thus far the heater works well to heat the 700sq ft area with 96" ceilings, but it can take some time to heat the entire area. Usually in an hour or two the room is heated and comfortable. It's 105 out now just got this unit installed before the heat wave hit in my one room apartment. HVAC guy took about 6 hrs to install and it works great. I have used a surface thermometer and it is more than 115 degrees on the surface of the hose at the hottest point.

I tried wrapping it with towels but it just lowered it to about 96 degrees. So I decided to try this. And it is a good thing I did.

After wrapping the exhaust hose with this and sealing it with Reflectix Tape, I tested the temperature. It was 84 degrees. that is 30% cooler that before with just a single layer of this. I could probably wrap it twice to even get that lower. The portable air conditioner is blowing really cold air now, and it not having a hard time anymore. A must have for Portable air conditioners. Highly recommended with the Relectix Tape.

This is a super table top or floor fan. It is packed with nice features., in fact it's design is even attactive. You will never find another fan on the market that has the features found on this product. It has a retractable cord reel that w/be handy for storing the fan when not in use. Think you might misplace the remote control, not if you place it in the sleek compartment (molded into the side of the housing/ chassi). The timer can be set for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours and is electronic not analog. There are two breeze settings, and the grill oscilates to direct wide range air-flow coverage. Finally, with so many features, Bionaire offers a 5 year warranty. The only negative comment I would make is that the fan is noisy. Obviously the highest speed is the loudest. The lowest setting isn't too bad. If it were not for the gushing air flow noise, this would be the ideal fan for just about any need or application.

this fan is just so wonderful, it cools/exhausts my bedroom so quietly and efficiently. It's one more thing that I don't have to worry about. I love the thermostate setting feature, when i leave for work in the morning my room is usually cool enough so that the fan shuts off and will re-start automatically to exhaust the hot air from the room at noontime.
