I got this product about 7 days back and am extremely happy with the product. I had an Kenmore 8,000 BTU Room Air Conditioner ENERGY STAR® and I would never purchase once again. So far so good. Can't be even worse than the Kenmore 8,000 BTU Room Air Conditioner ENERGY STAR® Also if you registered it on line you got an extra 2 months warranty.
Good for the price
I bought 5200BTU before but it's not cool enough for me. So I return it.
After that I bought 800BTU. It's very cool in a small room. A bit noisy but acceptable.
I recommend this one to my friends

Most Underlined Buyer Review : Excellent 8,000 BTU output for those hot desert days.
I wanted this model AC based on lots of positive reviews and I'm not disappointed. It outputs a lot of cold air for my 5th wheel RV in our desert climate. There is one thing: I noticed when installing it in my window that the inside is lined with what looks like a thin film of styrofoam. I asked the local Sears people about the durability of this. I thought in a very dry climate like ours the stuff would eventually crack and flake off, flying into the fan and other parts, but as usual they hadn't a clue except that all their Kenmore models have this lining. So I'll have to bear with it and hope that doesn't happen. Otherwise it's a nice AC and I got a splendid deal on it.
