Well, after doing a lot of research and reading the reviews right here and elsewhere, I decided to buy Living Basix Portable Evaporative Air Cooler. Though I 'd have liked a much better guarantee, I decided the features were attractive enough to try it. It is a bunch of cash to discard if it falls short simply after the guarantee. I am absolutely in love with this item. It is high quality item, clever functions. I just got it today, and I will upgrade my review later if required.
Cools fast!
This product is awesome. The summer is already here for us, and I live in a 90 year old building with no central A/C. So if you don't already have air conditioning in your place and need to cool it down, I recommend this cooler. My room got cool very quickly after putting water in the tank and turning it on, so it definitely works fast. Best thing is that I can move it around to whatever room I'm in in my apartment. The only con I can think of for the product is that the ice packs that come with it don't do very much, so I'm not sure why they're even included, but you don't need them. This machine cools great on its own.
