Well, after doing a great deal of research and checking out the reviews here and elsewhere, I decided to purchase Whynter 3M Antimicrobial Filter for ARC-14S, ARC-14SH and ARC-143MX. Though I 'd have liked a much better warranty, I decided the functions were attractive enough to try it. It is a lot of money to get rid of if it falls short simply after the warranty. I am entirely in love with this item. It is high quality item, clever features. I simply got it today, and I will update my testimonial later if required.

This filter stops mold and mildew from forming inside a.c. its a little pricy to replace 4 times a year..but shipping was fast. Will buy here again.
