I received this product about 5 days back and am very happy with the product. I had an Frigidaire FRA25ESU2 25,000 BTU Window-Mounted Heavy-Duty Air Conditioner with 16,000 BTU Supplemental Heat (230 volts) and I would never ever purchase once again. So far so great. Cannot be worse than the Frigidaire FRA25ESU2 25,000 BTU Window-Mounted Heavy-Duty Air Conditioner with 16,000 BTU Supplemental Heat (230 volts) Also if you registered it on line you got an added 2 months guarantee.

Arrived in good condition
Amazon shipped this item with a private shipping company which called ahead to schedule delivery and ensured the unit was in good condition. I had some trouble determining the plug type prior to receiving the air conditioner. I wanted the wiring to be ready before it arrived. It comes with the 30 amp 3-prong 240V plug shown in the online manual. It was about a 2-day job to get this mounted thru the wall on my own. I had to enlist a friend to lift it in though. The unit works great compared to my old 120V 10,000 btu air con, plus the heat pump feature will be great for some chilly mornings!

In addition to cooling, this versatile unit also offers a supplemental heat capability, providing you with an additional heat source when needed. It quickly cools the room on hot days and quiet operation keeps you comfortable without keeping you awake. Features include electronic controls, full-function remote control, 8-way air direction control and multiple speeds. Plus, the fresh air vent and exhaust control remove odors and freshen the air while the antibacterial mesh filter cleans the air removing harmful bacteria and airborne particles for a cool, comfortable environment. This unit requires a special 230V electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household electrical outlet.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

This unit has an Energy Efficiency Ratio of 9.4 and is sure to provide you with convenient, cool comfort. In Energy-saver mode the fan continues to run for 1 minute after the compressor shuts off. The fan then cycles on for 20 seconds at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor turns back on. The low voltage operation and Energy Saver mode help to conserve energy and save you money.
